From The Alps to The adriatic Sea Cycle without borders along the Alpe-Adria-Trail; from the eternal ice of the glacier at the foot of the majestic kitzsteinhorn through beautiful region of carianthia and all the way to the azure blue Adriatic in Italy. Wonderful natural spectacles, such as roaring waterfalls, rare animals and plants, warm glittering lakes, babbling brooks and rushing rivers encourage you to take a pause. The gentle, sunny, mild climate is also part of the package. Pleasures from the creative Alps-Adriatic cuisine smell tempting along the way, served by friendly hosts who love to chat “from the kitchen”. Go on a journey of discovery between idyllic swimming paradises and historical monuments of time. Art, culture and cuisine in abundance can be found on the Alpe-Adria cycle path, which leads from Zell-am-see over the Alps to Grado at the sea.

Cycle through the Woods and along the River
Our cycling trail leads through completely different landscapes. From the most beautiful mountain panorama of the Salzburger Lungau, we cycle between hay meadows into the Upper Murtal – and on through (almost) all of Styria.
While there is snow on the mountains, we cycle into the mild climate and southern ambience of southern Styria, where the snow mountains finally become vineyards. Or rather gentle hills that roll out to Bad Radkersburg in the plain between pumpkin and kukuruz fields.

Enjoy Wealth of Castles & Forts along the Trail
We begin our ride following the course of the Rhine, the Europe’s most well-known and most historic river. The fluvial topography of the Rhine is amongst the most enchanting and invites to visit the bordering cities and villages and in the next two days we will pass though one of the most beautiful areas of Germany.
Exiting from Mainz through a pretty allotment garden we will return to the beautiful field and meadow landscape on the Rhine, through which you always drive near the shore to Bingen.
Then the Rhine river enters in a valley surrounded by mountains while on both sides of the river rise steep vineyards used to produce the famous Riesling wines. Higher up, on the highest heights, there are castles and fortresses, which in the past had the task of protecting this important communication route.

Notable for their composition of pale coloured dolomite – a limestone like rock formed beneath deep, ancient seas – sitting atop darker volcanic bedding. There is a breathtaking mixture of soaring peaks and elegant spires, paired this with the intricacies of deep valleys, amazing flora and fauna.

It is a dream come true for many to visit Switzerland at least once in their lives. The best part is that be it any adventure sport you pick, one can have the best time of their lives in Switzerland. Cycling offers a great view of a thrill in Switzerland. One can also spend an entire day at these places without even feeling bored for a minute. This is truly one of the best experiences as one gets to enjoy glorious views of the free-flowing rivers that melt from the mountains. Cycle through history, over Roman bridges and by medieval monasteries along roads winding through the picturesque rolling Alentejo plains region of Portugal and into the neighboring sun-baked Extremadura, Spain.
Our 7 day cycling trip will give you a rich introduction to one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal and its close ties to life across the border in neighboring Spain. Cycling in the Alentejo is ideal because it combines a complex history with quiet country roads winding through olive orchards, vineyards and fields of grain. Every day is filled with picturesque rides, visits to historical points of interest and good food and wine. Explore Evora, the former capital of Portugal and taste wine and have lunch at a local winery estate. In the town of Vila Viçosa, once home to the royal family, you’ll learn about the significance of the local marble industry. And venture across the border to Olivenza, Spain and learn about its fascinating history and how it was once a Portuguese town. Head down to a Lusitano horse breeding farm and wander the cobbled streets of a border village where the Jews took refuge during the Inquisition. Finally climb up to the impressive castle town of Marvão high above the plains with panoramic views of the entire region. This is a once in a lifetime trip that must not be missed.
